Kailash Mansarovar Yatra-Helicopter Route Kathmandu To Kathmandu 2024

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter; is a suitable program for those Yatris who are willing to complete the yatra with ease, however possible. This holy journey starts from Kathmandu/ Nepalgunj to Simikot by scheduled flight and Simikot to Hilsa by Chartered Helicopter. The pilgrims are picked from Hilsa (Nepal-China Border) by deluxe coach and transferred to Border Town of Tibet; Taklakot/Purang.  The exotic Yatra of Kailas Mansarovar begins after forth.

Itinerary

Day 01 Kathmandu (1337m)

Arrival, receive, transfer and check-in to the hotel. Evening, program briefing.

Day 02Kathmandu

The day will be spent for the Visa application for the Kailash jouney with the China Visa Centre in Kathmandu.

Day 03Kathmandu

Darshan Of Pashupatinath Temple & Sleeping Vishnu at Budhanilkantha.

Day 04Kathmandu to Nepalgunj

Sightseeing Tour of Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Later in the afternoon, fly to Nepalgunj (1hr).

Day 05Nepalgunj to Simikot

Early morning flight to Simikot (2950m / 55mins).
Spend a beautiful day at Simikot acclimatizing.

Day 06Simikot to Purang

Fly down to Hilsa by Helicopter (3700m). Cross over the Karnali river to Sher and proceed to Purang.
Stay at Purang for acclimatization (3900m).

Day 07Purang to Mansarovar

Drive to Lake Manasarovar (4560m) with the Parikarma of the Lake (72km/3hrs).

Day 08Mansarovar to Darchen

Early morning Pooja at Lake Manasarovar. Drive to Darchen (4620m/40km, 1 ½ hrs.)

Day 09Darchen to Driaphuk

Drive to Trek starting point. Trek to Dirapuk (4860m).
(15 Kms / 6-7 hrs.)

Day 10Diraphuk to Zuthulphuk

Trek to Zhuthulpuk (4760m) Via Dolma La (5670M) /18 Kms, 10-12 hrs.)

Day 11 Zuthulphuk to Purang

End Kailas Kora. Drive to Darchen and back to Purang.

Day 12Purang to Nepalgunj and to Kathmandu

Fly to Nepalgunj and to Kathmandu.

Day 13Departure

The day is free until your transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
