Itinerary

Day 01Kathmandu (1337m)

Welcome receive from international airport with garland. Transfer, check-in to the hotel, program briefing in the evening.

Day 02Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, start Kathmandu valley sightseeing including: Pashupatinath temple & Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Afternoon, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Evening, welcome traditional dinner with culture dance.

Day 03Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) - 6 hours

After breakfast depart Pokhara by road journey. Check in to the hotel with welcome drink. Rest day self excursion. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 4Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1540m) - 5 hours

Drive about 1.30 hours to Nayapul. Manage load for porters and start to trek, Lunch around Birethanti or Syauli Bazar. Continue trek to Tikhedhunga. Dinner and overnight stay at trekkers lodge.

Day 05Tikhedhunga - Ghorepani (2860m) - 6 hours

After breakfast, ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m) and Banthanti (Magar villages). On the way, see the majestic view of Machhapuchhre (6997m), Huinchuli (6441m), and Annapurna South (7219m). Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 6Morning hike to Poonhill and trek to Tadapani (2,721m) - 6 hours

Early morning one and half hours hike to Poon Hill to catch the sunrise over the Himalayan chain of peaks, walk leads uphill through nice forest setting with alluring scenery, on reaching at Poon Hill with time to marvel the sunrise over an array of snow-clad mountains. After a fantastic time on top of Poonhill, head down to Ghorepani for breakfast and continue trek to Tadapani with scenic climb to Deurali and downhill with short up to Tadapani. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 07Tadapani to Chhomrong (2170m) – 6 hours

From Tadapani trek leads downhill through enchanting forest of Rhododendron, Pines and Oaks tree lines to reach a small village of Ghurjong near Kimrong river valley, further the path steep uphill for few hours all the way to the top of Chomrong village, a short downhill to the last permanent Gurung village and the gateway to Annapurna Sanctuary and Base Camp trekking. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 08Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m) - 6 hours

Today’s trek leads to a short downhill over the terraced farm fields to the Chomrong river. Crossing the bridge and ascend uphill for an hour to Sinuwa Danda, a small spot with few lodges offering great views of the surrounding landscapes and rolling green hills. Further trek through dense cool forest of Rhododendron and Oak to reach Bamboo, located aside of Modi River. Trek gradual up trail for an hour to reach to Dovan, a place encapsulated inside forest and gorge of Modi River. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 09Dovan to Annapurna Base Camp (4130m) via Machhapuchre Base camp (3700m) - 7 hours

The trek trail becomes fresher and the flow of cool air can be felt around the Annapurna Sanctuary, proceed the gradual winding path with gentle ups to Himalaya Hotel near the Hinko Cave, right beneath of Huinchuli Peak. Further trek on the glacier and moraine in the old avalanche area, cross a small bridge near at Deurali. The vegetation and tree lines disappear with only high alpine bushes and shrubs. Pleasant trek following the Modi River upstream with a steep up path reaching Maccahapuchare Base Camp. After a cup of tea/coffee further trek 2 hours on grassy uphill and slope to reach Annapurna Base Camp. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 10Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m) - 7 hours

After a wonderful morning overlooking views of Annapurna Mountain range. Start trek descending to Bamboo, offering tremendous awesome scenery of snow-capped peaks that encircle around you. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 11Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m) – 6 hours

After breakfast, start trek to Jhinu Danda. Follow descend path, lunch around Chhomrong. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 12Jhinu Danda to NayaPul and Drive to Pokhara - 6 hours

After breakfast, start trek to NayaPul, Trek about 5 hours. Meet Vehicle and drive about 1 hour to Pokhara. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13Pokhara

After breakfast, Pokhara local sightseeing. Visit Mountain Museum, Davis fall, Guptshwor Cave, Boating in Fewa Lake for about 1 hour. Evening time free for self excursion. Overnight stay at hotel.
