Tour Details

Annapurna Base Camp Trek; is one of the most famous trekking route in the world. This trekking route passes through a diverse range of climate, vegetation and cultural zones. From lush vegetation of rain and temperate forests to the alpine environment of the Sanctuary, each day on this trek offers something different. The land really does change daily, which provides a tantalizing introduction to Nepal’s cultural and natural beauty. Main peaks of the western portion of the great Annapurna Himal, including Hiunchuli, Annapurna South, Fang, Annapurna I, Ganagapurna, Annapurna III and Machhapuchhare, are arranged almost precisely in a circle about 10 miles in diameter with a deep glacier-covered amphitheater at the center. From this glacier basin, known as the Annapurna Sanctuary, the Modi Khola (River) knifes its way south in a narrow gorge (12,000 ft. deep). Further south, the gorge opens up into a wide and fertile valley, the domain of the Gurung community. During trek you pass through the Gurung villages of Ghandruk, Chomrong and Landrung, offering rhododendron and bamboo forests to Hinko Cave. Beyond Hinko, see excellent views of Annapurna South and Machapuchare.

Itinerary

Day 01Kathmandu (1337 m)

Welcome receive from international airport with garland. Transfer, check-in to the hotel, program briefing in the evening.

Day 02Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, start Kathmandu valley sightseeing including: Pashupatinath temple & Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Afternoon, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Evening, welcome traditional dinner with culture dance.

Day 03Drive Kathmandu to Pokhara (820m) - 6 hours

After breakfast depart Pokhara by road journey. Check in to the hotel with welcome drink. Rest day self excursion. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 Drive Nayapul (1070m) trek to Ghandruk (1940m) - 6 hours

Drive about 1.30 hours to Nayapul. Manage load for porters and start to trek, Lunch around Birethanti or Syauli Bazar. The local name of Ghandruk village is Stone Village or Konda. It is for sure that the trekkers will be more than happy and enjoy this trek as it provides clean stone step up and downhill and beautiful mountain views. Dinner and overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 05Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2170m) – 6 hours

After breakfast, start trek following the Modi Khola (River). Lunch around New Bridge. Continue trek to Chhmrong by passing through slope and gentle up-down path. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 06Chhomrong to Dovan (2600m) - 6 hours

After breakfast, trek to Dovan crossing Oak, Rhododendron forest. Reach Bamboo for lunch. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 07Dovan to Annapurna Base Camp (4130) via Machhapuchhre Base camp (3700m) - 7 hours

After breakfast at Dovan, start trek to Annapurna Base Camp. You can see the panoramic view of mountain peaks from Base Camp. There are tremendous views of giant Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Machhapuchhre (Mt. Fishtail, 6997m) and several other beautiful peaks. Reach Deurali for lunch. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 08Annapurna Base Camp to Bamboo (2310m)- 7 hours

After breakfast at ABC, trek down to Bamboo. Lunch in around Himalaya hotel. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 09Bamboo to Jhinu Danda (1780m) – 6 hours

After breakfast, start trek to Jhinu Danda. Follow descend path, lunch around Chhomrong. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 10Jhinu Danda to NayaPul and Drive to Pokhara - 6 hours

After breakfast, start trek to NayaPul, Trek about 5 hours. Meet Vehicle and drive about 1 hour to Pokhara. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11Pokhara

After breakfast, Pokhara local sightseeing. Visit Mountain Museum, Davis fall, Guptshwor Cave, Boating in Fewa Lake for about 1 hour. Evening time free for self excursion. Overnight stay at hotel.
