Tour Details

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter; is a suitable program for those Yatris who are willing to complete the yatra with ease, however possible. This holy journey starts from Kathmandu/ Nepalgunj to Simikot by scheduled flight and Simikot to Hilsa by Chartered Helicopter. The pilgrims are picked from Hilsa (Nepal-China Border) by deluxe coach and transferred to Border Town of Tibet; Taklakot/Purang.  The exotic Yatra of Kailas Mansarovar begins after forth.

Itinerary

Day 01Lucknow – Nepalgunj (150 m) - 3 hr. Drive

Pick Up from Lucknow and transfer to Nepalgunj.

Day 02Nepalgunj to Simikot (2,950 m)

Early morning flight to Simikot (2950m / 55mins). Spend a beautiful day at Simikot for acclimatizing.

Day 03Simikot to Purang (3900 m)

Fly to Hilsa by Helicopter (3700m). Cross over the Karnali River to Sher and proceed to Purang (24 Km).

Day 04Acclimatization Day at Purang

Rest and prepare for further higher altitude journey to sacred Lake Mansarovar

Day 05Purang to Sacred Lake Mansarovar(4,560 m)

Drive to Sacred Lake Mansarovar(4560m) with the Parikarma of the Lake (72km/3hrs). Holy Bath at Sacred Lake Mansarovar & Spiritual Activities (Puja)

Day 06Sacred Lake Mansarovar to Darchen (4,670m)

Morning free for spiritual activities. Drive to Darchen (40km, 1-2 hours). Rest and prepare for the Kailash Parikrama

Day 07Darchen to Diraphuk (4,860m)

Drive to Yam Dwar (30 minutes) and trek to Diraphuk. (12km- 6 to 7 hours). If unexhausted, trek further (2-3 hours) to Northern Charan Sparsh

Day 08Driaphuk to Zhuthulphuk (4,760m)

Trek via Dolma-La (5,670m), covering 18km (9-10 hours). Darshana of Shivasthali, Ganesh Kund, Ganesh Parvat and Gauri Kund. Darshana of East Facade of Holy Mt. Kailash while descending to Zhuthulphuk

Day 09Zuthulphuk to Hilsa

End Kailash Yatra. Drive to Darchen and back to Purang. Drive an hour to Hilsa from Purang.

Day 10Hilsa to Nepalgunj and Drive to Lucknow

Fly to Simikot by Helicopter. Further fly to Nepalgunj and drive to Lucknow
