Kailash Mansarovar Yatra-Helicopter Route 2025

Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter; is a suitable program for those Yatris who are willing to complete the yatra with ease, however possible. This holy journey starts from Kathmandu/ Nepalgunj to Simikot by scheduled flight and Simikot to Hilsa by Chartered Helicopter. The pilgrims are picked from Hilsa (Nepal-China Border) by deluxe coach and transferred to the Border Town of Tibet; Taklakot/Purang.  The exotic Yatra of Kailas Mansarovar begins.

Day 01 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,337m)

Airport pick-up and transfer to the hotel

Day 02 - 03Kathmandu Sightseeing & Visa Processing

Experience the beauties of Kathmandu Valley, including the iconic Shri Pashupatinath Temple. Relax and prepare for your journey ahead

Day 04Kathmandu to Nepalgunj (150 m)

Arrival at Nepalgunj, transfer to hotel, overnight stay

Day 05Nepalgunj to Simikot (2,950 m)

Early morning flight to Simikot (2950m / 55mins). Spend a beautiful day at Simikot for acclimatizing.

Day 06Simikot to Purang (3900 m)

Fly to Hilsa by Helicopter (3700m). Cross over the Karnali River to Sher and proceed to Purang (24 Km).
Stay at Purang (3900m)

Day 07Purang to Mansarovar (4,560 m)

Drive to Lake Manasarovar (4560m) with the Parikarma of the Lake (72km/3hrs). Holy Bath at Mansarovar & Spiritual Activities (Puja)

Day 08Lake Mansarovar to Darchen (4,670m)

Morning free for spiritual activities. Drive to Darchen (40km, 1-2 hours). Rest and prepare for the Kailash Parikrama

Day 09Darchen to Diraphuk (4,860m)

Drive to Yam Dwar (30 minutes) and trek to Diraphuk. (12km- 6 to 7 hours). If unexhausted, trek further (2-3 hours) to Northern Charan Sparsh

Day 10Diraphuk to Zhuthulphuk (4,760m)

Trek via Dolma-La (5,670m), covering 18km (9-10 hours). Darshana of Shivasthali, Ganesh Kund, Ganesh Parvat and Gauri Kund

Day 11Zuthulphuk to Purang

End Kailas Kora. Drive to Darchen and back to Purang

Day 12Purang to Nepalgunj to Kathmandu

Drive to Hilsa from Purang and then Fly to Simikot by Helicopter. Further fly to Nepalgunj and Kathmandu by Scheduled Flight.

Day 13Departure

Conclude your spiritual journey. Depart for your new destination
