Tour Details

Mera Peak Trek /Climb will be a lifetime experience, as this awesome trip leads you to the pure and pristine wilderness, away from the regular trekking trail, in complete isolation in the harmony of giant peaks and natural surroundings. Mera Peak stands high at 6,461 m / 21, 1907 ft, one of Nepal highest and nontechnical peaks to climb, located in far corners of South East Khumbu and Everest region. The grade is just PD meaning ‘Per Difficult’ of less difficulty the system used from French and Swiss Alpine climb, but one has to be in good health and physically fit as it leads to glaciers and snow with steep climb all the ways to the summit top. ABC Adventures provides expert climbing guides offering full support throughout the trek and climb, bringing you safely back with enjoyable lifetime experiences and memories. A short scenic flight takes you to Lukla town, a busy place during high season with a unique airstrip, from here our adventure begins with a climb over black rocky ridge Kalo-Himal / NauLekh to reach the hidden Inkhu valley away from the mainstream and popular trekking routes. The valley with dense birch-rhododendron- pines and fir trees soon disappears as the walk leads to high and dry moraine of ice and rocks at Mera Peak base camp.

Ascent to the top summit leads from our high camp with strenuous climb equipped with proper boots-ice axe, crampons and positive attitude; however, for the safe and successful climb, our guides will fix ropes where necessary. From the top excellent views of world highest peaks from Everest-Lhotse- Makalu and as far as Kanchenjunga towards eastern horizon, after a great and exciting tough climb descend back to retrace the journey back to Lukla. This marvelous Mera Peak Trek & Climb concludes with a flight back to Kathmandu after a wonderful adventure with Pristine Nepal.
