Tour Details

Experience the ultimate Himalayan adventure with our Hiunchuli Peak Expedition. Starting from the vibrant city of Kathmandu, travel to Pokhara before beginning your trek through picturesque Gurung villages, terraced fields, and lush rhododendron forests. Journey into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary, visit the Annapurna Base Camp, and challenge yourself with the summit of Hiunchuli Peak (6,441 m).

Itinerary

Day 01Arrival in Kathmandu (1,338 m)

Upon arrival at Kathmandu International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative and then transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is free for personal activities. Dinner and overnight stay in hotel.

Day 02 Sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley

After Breakfast Visit Budhanilkantha Temple (Shri Narayan Temple), Shri Pashupatinath Temple, Bhaktapur Durbar Square The evening is free for shopping and personal activities for you onward trip.

Day 03Drive from Kathmandu to Pokhara (5–6 hrs)

Begin a scenic drive to Pokhara, passing through winding roads, rivers, and lush hills. Arrive in Pokhara, a serene city nestled beside Phewa Lake and surrounded by snow-capped mountains. Evening free to stroll along the lakeside or enjoy the sunset over the Annapurna range.

Day 04Drive to Nayapul & Trek to Ghandruk (1,430 m | 4–5 hrs)

Drive to Nayapul, the starting point of your trek. Begin your journey on scenic trails through terraced fields, waterfalls, and traditional villages. Reach the charming Gurung village of Ghandruk, perched above the Modi Khola river with breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre peaks.

Day 05Trek from Ghandruk to Chhomrong (2,170 m)

Trek along stone staircases and through rhododendron and bamboo forests. Pass through local settlements and enjoy panoramic mountain views as you approach Chhomrong, a key gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary.

Day 06Trek from Chhomrong to Dovan (2,600 m)

Descend to Chhomrong Khola before ascending again into dense forests. The trail gradually climbs, passing suspension bridges, streams, and lush greenery, until you reach the serene campsite at Dovan.

Day 07Trek from Dovan to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700 m)

The trek today enters the alpine zone. Pass through beautiful landscapes, moraines, and glacial streams as you make your way to Machhapuchhre Base Camp. The views of the towering peaks, including Machhapuchhre (Fishtail), are absolutely stunning.

Day 08Trek from MBC to Annapurna Base Camp (4,130 m)

A short but spectacular trek into the heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary. Marvel at 360-degree Himalayan panoramas as you reach Annapurna Base Camp, surrounded by massive snow-clad peaks.

Day 09Trek from ABC to Hiunchuli Base Camp (4,600 m)

Leave the main Annapurna trail and head toward Hiunchuli Base Camp. The trail becomes rugged with moraine, rocks, and glaciers. Establish base camp in preparation for the higher ascent

Day 10Trek from Hiunchuli Base Camp to High Camp (5,500 m)

Climb steadily on rocky and snowy terrain, passing crevasses and alpine ridges to reach High Camp. Acclimatize and prepare your gear for the summit push the following day.

Day 11Summit Hiunchuli Peak (6,441 m) & Descend to Deurali (3,230 m)

Begin the early morning ascent to the summit of Hiunchuli Peak. Experience breathtaking sunrise and panoramic Himalayan views. After celebrating your summit, carefully descend to Deurali for a well-deserved overnight rest.

Day 12Buffer Day

Reserved as an extra day to account for weather delays, rest, or additional acclimatization.

Day 13Trek from Deurali to Sinuwa (2,360 m)

Descend through bamboo forests and past traditional villages, retracing part of the Annapurna Sanctuary trail to reach Sinuwa.

Day 14Trek from Sinuwa to Ghandruk (1,940 m)

Continue descending through lush trails, enjoying local scenery and cultural interactions, until you arrive at the picturesque Gurung village of Ghandruk.

Day 15Trek to Nayapul & Drive to Pokhara

Complete the final stretch of your trek to Nayapul, then drive back to Pokhara. Evening at leisure to relax and celebrate the successful expedition.

Day 16Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu

Return to Kathmandu via scenic highways. Check into your hotel and enjoy your last evening in Nepal with leisure or souvenir shopping.

Day 17Departure

Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward journey, carrying memories of an unforgettable Hiunchuli Peak adventure.
