Pilgrimage Nepal 11 days is a religious tour program designated to cover famous and sacred temples and places within different parts of Nepal. This tour includes sightseeing of numerous temples of Kathmandu Valley listed in UNESCO world heritage site, natural beauty and sightseeing of Pokhara Valley with “Tal Bahari”, “Bindabasini” temples and “Gupteshor Mahadev Cave”.

Balmiki Ashram is another sacred place freezed throughout history where some important events of “Ramayana” took place including birth of Lava and Kusha and where Sita Mata went to “Patal”, also where Maharsi Balmiki wrote whole “Ramayana”. 

Janakpur, an ancient Mithila city has a religious history considered as the birth place of Sita Mata and Dhanusa Dham which is believed to be the place where the broken remains of Lord Shiva’s bow fell after Ram broke it to win Sita’s hand in marriage.

Itinerary

Day 01Kathmandu (1337m)

Welcome receive from international airport with garland. Transfer, check-in and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02Kathmandu to Pokhara via Manakamana Temple - 7 hours

After breakfast drive to Pokhara. On the way visit Manakamana Temple; A temple to fulfill one’s wish as “Mana” means mind and “Kamana” means to wish, by cable car. Further, continue to Pokhara. Evening free for self-exploring. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 03Pokhara Sightseeing

After breakfast, begin your full-day exploration of Pokhara, Nepal’s most scenic lake city. Start with a drive to Pumdikot Hill, home to the grand Shiva statue and offering breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. Continue to the serene World Peace Pagoda, a beautiful white stupa perched on a hilltop overlooking the city and Phewa Lake. Then, visit Devi’s Fall, a unique underground waterfall, and explore the nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which houses a sacred Shiva shrine. Later, visit the International Mountain Museum, where you can learn about the history of mountaineering and the culture of Himalayan communities.

Day 04Pokhara to Lumbini - 7 hours

After breakfast drive to Lumbini seeing many green hills, beautiful sceneries, rivers and landscapes. Lumbini is the birthplace of Gautam Buddha, light of Asia after an excursion of this area overnight stay at hotel.

Day 05Lumbini to Balmiki Ashram with Sashwat Dham and Devghat - 9 hours

After breakfast, drive towards Balmiki Ashram; A famous place with many pieces of evidence of Ramayana. Visit Sashwat Dham at Nawalparasi and then Devghat, where many old peoples patiently live out their last days here hoping to achieve an equally auspicious death and rebirth. Reach Chitwan, check-in and Overnight stay.

Day 06Jungle Safari and Wildlife Activities

Today is dedicated to exploring Chitwan National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a thrilling jeep safari or elephant ride to spot wildlife such as one-horned rhinos, deer, and, with luck, the elusive Bengal tiger.
You’ll also enjoy canoeing on the Rapti River, visit the elephant breeding center, and witness a stunning sunset over the river.

Day 07Chitwan to Janakpur - 6 hours

Drive to Janakpur after breakfast. Reach and check-in to hotel, excursion to Janaki Temple, Ram-Laxman Temple, Hanuman Temple, ancient palace of Mithila Kingdom and many more. Overnight stay at Janakpur.

Day 08Janakpur to Kathmandu - 7 hours

After breakfast, drive to Dhanusa Dham (25 Km); A place believed to be where the broken remains of Lord Shiva’s bow fell after Ram broke it to win Sita’s hand in marriage. Further drive to Kathmandu via newly constructed and beautiful swirling BP highway. Evening, Aarati of Pashupatinath aside holy Bagmati river. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Pashupatinath Temple and Patan Durbar Square. Afternoon visit to Swyambhunath Stupa. Evening for self-exploration. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10Continue Kathmandu Sightseeing

After breakfast, drive to Suryabinayak temple (temple of Lord Ganesh) and further drive to Doleshore Mahadev temple. Drive further to Changhunarayan temple (temple of Lord Vishnu) and back to Bhaktapur Durbar Square sightseeing. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 11Departure

After breakfast, transfer to International airport for final departure.
