Gokyo Cho-La Pass and Everest Base Camp Trek is the breezy trek into the Everest/Khumbu region which consolidates the Everest Base Camp with the Gokyo valley and the high Cho-La pass at the height of 5369 m. This trekking trail offers the shocking perspectives on numerous Himalaya Peaks  like Mt. Everest (8848m.), Barun-Tse, Lhotse, Makalu, Amadablam, Kanchenjunga, Nuptse, Mt. Pumori and many more. The common excellence, rich and extraordinary culture of the Sherpa occupants, lavish woodland, strolling over the day off, high pass gives the glorious delight to the guests which will be the lifetime memory. Gokyo valley is the remote Himalayan Valley which offers the perspective on the mountains, Glaciers, Gokyo Lake and so on. The significant features of this trek are the mountain vistas, Sacred Lakes of Gokyo and wonderful river valleys, icy masses, crossing Cho-La pass and so forth.

Itinerary

Day 01 Kathmandu (1337 m)

Arrival at Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel

Day 02Kathmandu Sightseeing

Kathmandu valley sightseeing; Pashupatinath Temple & Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple). Afternoon, visit Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Evening, program preparation and briefing.

Day 03Kathmandu to Lukla (2840m) to Phakding (2610m) - 4 hours

Transfer to domestic airport & fly about 35 minutes to Lukla. Trek to Phakding.

Day 4Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3440m) – 7 hours

Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazar. (11Km, 07hrs)

Day 05Acclimatization at Namche Bazaar (3440m)

Namche Bazar excursion, visit Sherpa Museum and Everest View Point.

Day 06Namche Bazaar to Phortse Thanga (3680m) - 6 hours

Trek begins after breakfast at Namche Bazaar. You can see Blue Sheep, Himalayan Thar, Lophophorous and Mountain Pheasant and numerous types of Himalaya Vegetations. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 07Phortse Thanga to Machhermo (4470 m) - 7 hours

Trek From Phortse Thanga to Machhermo (4470m, 7hrs)

Day 08Machhermo to Gokyo (4790m) 5-6 hours

Trek Towards Gokyo () enjoying the satisfying mountains and down valleys.

Day 09Gokyo to Dragnag (4700 m) - 3 hours

Early in morning climb Gokyo–Ri (5360m) about 2.5 hours. Panoramic view of various mountains including; Cho-Oyu, Pumori, Nuptse, Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, Barun-Tse, Ama-Dablam, Thamserku and more. Return back to hotel, after breakfast trek to Dragnag which is considered as the base of Cho-La Pass.

Day 10Dragnag– Cho-La (5369 m) - Dzongla (4830 m) - 7 hours

Trek from Dragnag to Cho-la. enjoy The view of Mt. Everest, Mt. Ama Dablam, Mt. Cho-Oyo, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Makalu, Mt. Cholaste, Mt. Tawache, Mt. Gyachung Kang and more. Afternoon descend from Cho-la to Dzongla.

Day 11Dzong-La - Lobuche to Gorak Shep (5180m)- 7 hours

Trek from Dzongla to Lobuche (,3 Hrs) following the closeup views of Tawache and Cholatse. Further trek around 4 hours to Gorakshep. later afternoon trek to Kala-Patthar about 2.5 hours for Stunning view of Sunset over the Himalaya ranges including; Mt. Everest and numerous others like Mt. Pumori, Mt. Lingtren, Mt. Khumbutse, Mt. Nuptse, Mt. Lhotse, Mt. Ama-Dablam, Mt. Thamserku and more. Trek back and overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 12Gorak Shep to Everest Base Camp (5364m) to Pheriche (4240 m)

Early morning start trek to Everest Base Camp (5364 m, about 3 hours), gently ascend with zig-zag path. After short excursion of Everest Base Camp, trek down 2 hours to similar descend up to Gorakshep. After breakfast, trek about 5 hours to Pheriche. Overnight stay at Trekker’s Lodge.

Day 13Pheriche to Namche Bazar (3440m)

Trek about 7 hours to Namche Bazar.

Day 14Namche Bazaar to Lukla (2840m)

Trek about 7 hours to Lukla.

Day 15Lukla to Kathmandu.

Fly to Kathmandu (35 mins). Arrival pick-up and transfer to the hotel.

Day 16Departure

Drive to Kathmandu International Airport for schedule return flight.
