Additional Expenses

So far, the additional expenses out of the package cost for Kailash is hiring a personal horse and porter. Recently, the Tibetan authorities have implemented a rule for individuals who hire a personal horse for the 3-day Kailash Parikrama should also hire a personal porter. Advise manage Yuan 5000/ per person as additional expenses.

Itinerary

Day 01Kathmandu (1337m)

Arrival, receive and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 to 04Kathmandu Sightseeing & Visa Processing

Experience the beauties of Kathmandu Valley, including the iconic Shri Pashupatinath Temple, Budhanilkantha (Vishnu reclining on Snake Bed), World Heritage and UNESCO city Bhaktapur Durbar Square, Doleshwor Mahadev (Head of Kedarnath Mahadev), Kathmandu Durbar Square with Darshana of Kumari Living Goddess) and the world-famous Stupa Swayambhunath. Preparation for your journey ahead.

Day 05Kathmandu to Lhasa (3,650m)

After breakfast, transfer to the Kathmandu Internation Airport for your flight to Lhasa. Fly to Lhasa about 1.05 hours. Arrival, receive from GANGAR International Airport and transfer to Lhasa City (3650m. Evening Walk and explore Lhasa Street.

Day 06Lhasa City Sightseeing I

Visit the famous Jokhang Temple in Barkhor Square and Sera Monastery. Evening visit Local Market Street.

Day 07Lhasa City Sightseeing II

LHASA sightseeing; world famous POTALA PALACE and Drepung Monastery.

Day 08Drive to Shigatse (3800m)

Drive to Shigatse (271 Km, 8 hrs ). Visit The Tashilunpo Monastery & the free market.

Day 09Drive to Saga (4,610m)

Drive to Saga (4600m, 447 Kms, 8hrs). crossing Brahmaputra River and Lablug-La (5,050m).

Day 10Saga to Lake Mansarovar (4,560m)

Drive to Sacred Lake Mansarovar (4,560M, 478km, 8-9hrs). Witness breathtaking views of the Sacred Lake Mansarovar (Parikrama) and the southern Façade (Guru Mukh) of Kailash Parbat, Gurlaman-Datta Himalaya, Hor-Chu Gompa, Thu-Gu Gompa, Chiu–Gompa and Ravan Lake also called Rakshes Tal; during the Parikrama of Mansarovar Lake.

Day 11 Lake Mansarovar to Darchen (4,670m)

Morning free for spiritual activities; Darshana of Mansarovar Lake and Kailash Parvat at Dawn, Darshana of SunRise over the Mansarovar Lake, Puja Hawana and like Vedic Perform. Drive to Darchen (4,560m, 40km, 1-2 hrs). Rest and prepare for Holy Mt. Kailash Parikrama.

Day 12Darchen to Diraphuk (4,860m)

Drive to Yam-Dwar (20 minutes) and trek to Driaphuk. (4,860m, 12km- 6 to 7hrs). If unexhausted, trek further (1.5 to 2hrs) to Northern Inner Darshan.

Day 13Diraphuk to Zhuthulphuk (4,760m)

Trek via Dolma-La (5,670m, 18km, 9-10hrs). Darshana of Shivasthali, Ganesh Kund, Ganesh Parvat and Gauri Kund. Darshana of East Facade of Holy Mt. Kailash while descending to Zhuthulphuk.

Day 14Zuthulphuk to Saga (4,610m)

Trek (3hrs) to end the Kailash Parikrama. Drive to Saga (4600m, 470km 7-8hrs)

Day 15Saga to Kathmandu via Kerung border

Drive to Kerung border (3hrs). After clearing immigration, drive to Kathmandu (5-6hrs)

Day 16Departure

Conclude your spiritual journey. Depart for your new destination.
