You’ll also enjoy canoeing on the Rapti River, visit the elephant breeding center, and witness a stunning sunset over the river.
After breakfast, drive to Pokhara, the picturesque “City of Lakes,” surrounded by the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. Enjoy the scenic journey along winding roads and river valleys. Upon arrival, check into your hotel and visit Tal Barahi Temple, located on an island in Phewa Lake, followed by a relaxing boat ride. In the evening, stroll through the vibrant Lakeside area.
After breakfast, begin your full-day exploration of Pokhara, Nepal’s most scenic lake city. Start with a drive to Pumdikot Hill, home to the grand Shiva statue and offering breathtaking views of the Annapurna and Machhapuchhre ranges. Continue to the serene World Peace Pagoda, a beautiful white stupa perched on a hilltop overlooking the city and Phewa Lake. Then, visit Devi’s Fall, a unique underground waterfall, and explore the nearby Gupteshwor Mahadev Cave, which houses a sacred Shiva shrine. Later, visit the International Mountain Museum, where you can learn about the history of mountaineering and the culture of Himalayan communities.
After breakfast, drive back to Kathmandu, enjoying scenic landscapes along the way. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel and take the rest of the day for shopping, rest, or exploring on your own.
