Trishuli River Rafting

The most popular rafting stretch in Nepal, on the main highway between Kathmandu and Pokhara or Chitwan, so it fits easily into a transfer day. Lively rapids such as Upset and Ladies Delight alternate with calm sections through gorges and villages.

Trips start in the morning at Charaudi or Kuringhat, about 3 hours from Kathmandu, with a safety briefing on paddling commands and swimming in white water. After 3–4 hours on the river, guests rejoin their vehicle and continue to Pokhara or Chitwan the same afternoon, so no extra night is needed. Wear quick-dry clothing and sandals; a change of clothes stays in the vehicle.
