Classic Nepal — Kathmandu · Pokhara · Ghandruk · Chhomrong

Classic Nepal adds two days of trekking in the Annapurna foothills to the standard Kathmandu–Pokhara circuit. After Trishuli River rafting en route to Pokhara, the group drives to Ghandruk, a Gurung village with views of the Annapurna and Fishtail ranges, then treks along the Modi Khola to Chhomrong at 2,170 m, the gateway to the Annapurna Sanctuary. A second trekking day descends to Jhinu Phedi before driving back to Pokhara via Nayapul, with boating on Phewa Lake in the afternoon. Pokhara itself is explored by cable car to Sarangkot for sunrise over the Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges, followed by a Zip-Line Ride and Temple sightseeing; paragliding, hot-air ballooning and bungee jumping are available as optional extras. The return to Kathmandu and a final day of valley sightseeing close the trip. Graded Moderate rather than Easy, this is the one route in the pack that asks travellers to walk, with overnight stays in trekkers’ lodges at Ghandruk and Chhomrong.
