Bungee Jump

A jump from a suspension bridge over a river gorge: the classic 160 m Bhote Koshi jump near the Tibet border, or the 228 m Kushma jump over the Kali Gandaki, among the highest bungee jumps in the world.

At Bhote Koshi, jumpers fall towards the river from a 166 m steel suspension bridge in a gorge 3 hours from Kathmandu; many guests stay at the riverside resort or combine it with rafting. At Kushma, a 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara, the jump is from a 228 m bridge over the Kali Gandaki. Both are run by experienced jumpmasters.
